Through the invoice in the client area: Pix (Brazil's instant payment system), boleto (Brazilian bank slip) or credit card, always in Brazilian reais (BRL). Pix is confirmed within minutes.

For now, ordering requires a Brazilian taxpayer ID (CPF for individuals or CNPJ for companies), and we bill in Brazilian reais (BRL) by Pix, boleto or credit card. No. The VPS comes with root access and you manage the server. We're preparing setup, migration and management services for those who prefer help.

Yes, for testing. New VPSs come with Linux. On the Medium and Advanced plans, you can reinstall with Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022 or 2025) from the client area. It's Microsoft's free evaluation version: it runs for 180 days and follows Microsoft's evaluation terms (for testing, not for production). To use it in production or after that period, buying and activating the license is entirely your responsibility: DP HOST does not sell, include or activate licenses. Without activation, Windows starts shutting itself down every hour. See the Windows Server guide (in Portuguese) and section 2.5 of the Terms of Service. Other compatible operating systems can be installed from an ISO, on request, after review.

It's not included, but you can add daily backup: a full copy of the VPS every day, overnight, keeping the 3 most recent. You restore it yourself from the VPS panel. Monthly: Start US$ 2.54 (R$ 12.90 BRL), Basic US$ 4.11 (R$ 20.90 BRL), Medium US$ 8.24 (R$ 41.90 BRL) and Advanced US$ 16.31 (R$ 82.90 BRL). You can add it when you order or later, in the client area. The copies are kept in the same data center, on servers separate from the VPS; that's why we also recommend keeping your own copies outside it. Learn more (in Portuguese).

There's no monthly cap: you don't pay extra for the traffic you use. Fair use applies: use the network normally for your plan, without harming other customers. If very heavy, sustained use disrupts the network, we'll notify you and, if it isn't resolved, the network speed may be limited or the VPS suspended. In serious or urgent cases, action may be immediate. See section 2.1 of the Terms of Service.

Port 25 is blocked to prevent spam. In most cases, use a transactional email service on port 587. If you need port 25, open a ticket explaining why: the request is reviewed and, if approved, the port is unblocked. Unblocking can be revoked in case of spam or abuse.

Yes, at a basic level: the infrastructure is protected against network-layer attacks (L3/L4). In severe attacks, the targeted IP may be temporarily blocked (null route) to protect the network and other customers. Application-layer attacks (HTTP/HTTPS) are not covered; for websites, we recommend Cloudflare: see the free step-by-step guide or have DP HOST set it up for you for a one-time fee of US$ 39.33 (R$ 199.90 BRL). No. Mining is prohibited on all plans and results in deletion of the VPS and an account ban. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
